Shipping
All Gunners Tacklebox orders will ship out from the Huntsville Area of Ontario through Canada Post.
We strive to have orders ready to ship within 48 hours of receiving them, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
We have opted to offer two flat rate shipping options based on regular orders and oversized orders within Canada (Remote locations excepted).
Regular orders are $19.95. We utilize as many shipping options as possible to try to keep costs down, however in recent years shipping costs have skyrocketed. Please note that we do not in any way profit from shipping cost as ALL orders ultimately end up costing more to ship than our flat rate.
Oversized orders (Anything where packaging exceeds 39" on two dimensions) are $34.95 to accommodate the automatic Oversized fee.
Orders from within the immediate area we offer in store pick up at no charge. Within the Huntsville to Burks Falls area we can usually accommodate pick up meetings at no additional charge as well.
Remote locations are not subject to flat rate shipping.
Certain items do not fit into either category and will have a specific shipping cost assigned to it (ie full sized crossbows @ $49.95).
In the event we receive a large number of orders from a particular area, we may offer the option of direct delivery at a reduced rate, and the difference would be refunded in cash or credit card.
International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes. These are the responsibility of the recipient and will generally be assessed by the courier or postal service prior to delivery.
FAQs
Q - Why does shipping cost so much?
A - Shipping costs on all platforms have skyrocketed in the last couple years. As of January 2024 the price to ship a small package within Ontario (2 lures, ~ 75 grams) is ~ $17 via expedited parcel. Outside of Ontario is ~$22 for same size package. We try to stay as low a possible and be competitive.
Q - Have you looked into any of those shipping platforms like Sendle or Gooruship?
A - We've looked into them, the prices are good but still not competitive to Canada Post. The reliability of these third party booking services is not the greatest either.
Q- Why are remote locations excepted from the flat rate shipping?
A - Due to the nature of remote locations typically being limited access, shipping costs and significantly higher than non remote locations. For example, a Crossbow that would cost ~$60 to ship regular parcel in Ontario, ~$75 to ship out west to Alberta, would jumo to ~$180 to ship to Kuujjuaq, a remote fly in town in Northern Quebec.

At Gunners Tacklebox we value your trust and pledge to protect your personal information. We will never willingly or knowingly share, distribute, sell or otherwise release your information to any party. We also do not keep any financial or payment data in our own system. All payment information goes through our payment gateway and is not visible or recorded by us in any way.
For customers who do not wish to provide credit card information over the internet we can offer cash, debit, apple pay, google pay and other options when store pickup is selected.
